empiic use of any antibiotic esp.azithromycin is rational only in serious infections not at all in community acquired infections like CAP/enteric fever
vomiting is common presentation of Bact.TP in older children
short cours of doxy means how many days of course
eosinopenia on pbs is also handy clue for pyogenic infection esp. npv
serum Sodium is good supportive test.
Apart from capillary leak syndromes, KD, hyponatremia is a good clue for rickettssial infection
WHEN BLANKET TREATMENT OR COCKTAIL REGIME IS STILL BEING USED TO TREAT COVID 19,
THE QUESTION STILL REMAINS UNANSWERED THAT WHETHER WE ARE DEALING WITH A VIRUS, BACTERIA, FUNGI, PARASITE OR
JUST A COMPUTER VIRUS???
