1. Are there any antibiotics which doesn’t have effect on blood c/s, if used prior to blood c/s sample collection?
2.can we change to ceftriaxone if relapse is seen after full course of oral cefixime?
3.how reliable is blood c/s if prior course of oral cefixime used??
Is there any 2nd dose of TCV in the present recommendation ?
-Even after 14 days widal test keeps coming positive with low gr fever.
-for how long widal remains positive in reports
Azithromycin @ 20/ kg for 7 days is sufficient?
If fever does not break THEN use 3 rd generation ? X 14 days ?
When we can give TCV after the attack of Enteric fever
Is a 2nd dose of TCV required ?
How long does immunity last after 2 doses of TCV
