  1. The app will validate your number and ask you to set a pin to secure your account. Please create a PIN

5. You can then enter in your business/Practice name and set a profile picture.

  1. You will then find the option to select your business category. In this you should select- ‘Medical and Health’

7. Once the above steps are completed, you will be able to see the normal whatsapp chat window with contacts.

9. You can set up a lot of details about your practice in business settings > business profile which will be visible to all contacts who save your WA Business number. E.g. Clinic Open Hours, Weekly Schedule, automated ‘away message’ for patients who may write during non-clinic hours, etc.

13. Once you complete your business profile, go back to business settings and click on ‘short link’.

14. Copy the short link and share it with your patients through the WhatsApp for Business account. Once they open the link, they can save your number in their address book and also edit and send the default message back to you.
